CREAMY GARLIC PASTA

Another easy and yummy pasta dish

Ingredients

1 box of penne pasts.  You can yuse any pasta you like but use 1 lb.

2-3 tablespoons of garlic butter.  (see previous recipe on garlic butter above)

2 tablespoons of flour

¾ cup of chicken broth

¾ cup milk

2 tablespoons of parsley flakes

salt and pepper to taste

1/3 cup of parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook pasta until al dente
  2. Melt garlic butter in medium sauce pan
  3. Add flour (sprinkle) to the garlic butter and stir until flour fully coated with butter
  4. Add milk and continue to stir until sauce boils thickens
  5. Add Parsley, salt, pepper and cheese
  6. Stir until cheese melted
  7. Toss sauce with pasta and serve immediately

Again, you can add prosciutto and peas to this recipe.  To do this sauté prosciutto cubes in some butter until heated.  Then add the garlic butter. When melted add the peas. I find the best are frozen baby peas.  To thaw, put peas in a bowl and add warm water and stir. The peas should thaw within 10 minutes. Then add to butter.   When heated add to pasta.
