If you like the flavor of Shiitake Mushrooms, this gravy mix will fit the bill. It has a depth of flavor the is very umami. Its very easy to make. Just melt 1/4 cup of butter, mix in the powder and cook the rouge for 1-2 minutes then add 3 cups of your favorite stock to compliment your main course. Simmer until thick and there you have it. You can add a couple of tablespoons of cream to make it richer.
This mix make 3 cups of gravy. If too much...just cut butter and stock in half and use half the container.
